LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The American Bar Association (ABA) recently appointed Stites & Harbison Member Whitney Frazier Watt as co-chair of the Women in Products Liability Subcommittee. Watt’s term will last two years.

Whitney Frazier Watt is a member of Stites & Harbison’s Torts & Insurance and Business Litigation Service Groups. She is based in the Louisville, Ky., office. She has a wide-ranging practice including, but not limited to, products liability cases, contract disputes, toxic tort cases, professional negligence cases, tortious interference cases, and mass actions.

Prior to being appointed co-chair of the Women in Products Liability Subcommittee, Watt served as Executive Editor of the ABA Products Liability newsletter.

“Whitney is an excellent choice for co-chair,” said Ken Sagan, chairman of Stites & Harbison. “Her leadership background in various legal and community groups will add value to the Women in Products Liability Subcommittee.”

Watt serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisville Visual Arts Association, the Advisory Council for Dress for Success Louisville, on Stites & Harbison’s Recruiting Committee, and as a Class Chair for the Davidson College Alumni Leadership Team. She is a volunteer attorney for the Louisville Legal Aid Society and the Center for Women and Families. Watt earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2003.
