Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana Appoints Donovan D. Gibbs II to Advisory Board

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 20, 2024)—Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana recently appointed Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Donovan D. Gibbs II to its Young Professionals Advisory Board.

Junior Achievement’s (JA’s) mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Founded in 1919, JA is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to succeed through financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness programs.

Gibbs is a member of Stites & Harbison’s Intellectual Property & Technology Service Group based in the Louisville, Ky., office. His practice focuses on counseling clients in litigation and transactional matters involving intellectual property. He assists clients with the selection, adoption, registration and protection of their trademarks as well as registration of copyrights. He also assists clients with a variety of transactional issues including those related to licensing of copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. As a former college athlete, Gibbs is passionate about providing counsel to players and protecting their name, image and likeness (NIL) rights with a thoughtful and empathetic perspective, through lived experience.
