Carolyn Purcell Michener Appointed to Fund for the Arts NeXtGen Board

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Fund for the Arts recently appointed Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Carolyn Purcell Michener to its NeXtGen Board. She will serve a three-year term.

Fund for the Arts is a regional nonprofit committed to building a vibrant community through the power of the arts. The fund supports diverse arts organizations and initiatives with the mission of enhancing economic development, education and the quality of life for everyone by generating resources, inspiring excellence and creating community connections. The NeXtGen Board acts as a junior board of Fund for the Arts. This board focuses on actively volunteering in the organization, supporting and recruiting for the NeXt program, promoting community engagement and serving as a mentor.

Michener is based in the Louisville, Ky., office and is a member of the Business Litigation Service Group. She has a diverse litigation practice that includes complex business disputes, financial services litigation and product liability defense. She previously served as a Fund for the Arts NeXt Ambassador, Class of 2020.
