Theodore E.G. Pound (Ted)
Ted Pound is an Member of the firm in the Atlanta office where he is a member of the Torts & Insurance Practice Service Group. His practice focuses on civil litigation and trial practice in state and federal court which includes defense of healthcare providers in professional liability litigation, and in a wide range of other personal injury cases.
Ted has tried more than 50 cases to a jury verdict in state and federal courts in Georgia. For the past several years, he has managed a diverse practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in significant personal injury litigation including business disputes, premises liability, and wrongful death actions arising in the construction setting.

Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Ted practiced civil litigation more than 30 years as a partner in several Atlanta law firms.
Ted lives in northwest Atlanta with his wife, Susan, and their two children now in college. He also has two grown daughters with five daughters of their own who reside in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. He has been an active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in downtown Atlanta for 40 years. He served on the board and was a past president of the Atlanta Enterprise Center, a job-training program for the homeless, now know as the Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency, and has recently served three years as board chair of the St. Luke's Training and Counseling Center, an interfaith clinical pastoral education program that provides mental health and counseling to the underserved.
