Born and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi, Mary Elizabeth graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in journalism before pursuing a law degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. After passing the bar exam, she relocated to Nashville in 2022.
Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, Mary Elizabeth was an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office.
Outside of her practice, Mary Elizabeth enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and watching and attending Ole Miss football games.
