Caitlyn Barnes is an attorney located in the firm's Louisville office. After graduating cum laude from the University of Kentucky College of Law, Caitlyn joined Stites and is a member of the Torts & Insurance Practice Group. She now handles a wide variety of litigation matters, including but not limited to products liability, toxic and mass torts, major accidents, and contract disputes.

Caitlyn joined Stites & Harbison after serving as a summer associate in the Louisville office in 2018 and 2019. During law school, she served as the Executive Editor of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources. She also interned for the Honorable Thomas L. Travis in the Fayette Circuit Court. Prior to that she worked as a summer intern for a firm in Louisville in 2017.
Outside of practicing law, Caitlyn enjoys watching college basketball and football–especially her Kentucky Wildcats, baking, playing soccer, and reading.
