After law school, April clerked for the Honorable Claria Horn Boom, United States District Judge for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky (2022-24), and for the Honorable Regina S. Edwards, United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Kentucky (2021-22). During law school, April served as a Research Fellow for Legal Aid Society of Louisville, a legal extern for the Kentucky Innocence Project, and an intern for the Honorable Charles L. Cunningham of the Jefferson County Circuit Court.
April enjoys collecting sports cards and memorabilia, cooking, playing tennis, and supporting the Memphis Grizzlies and Cincinnati Reds.
